Jackyn Baculio's reflection

Last Wednesday  in facilitating learning in learned about metacognition is defined as "cognition about cognition", or knowing about knowing. And the function of the brain through use of sense in the environment. The neuron  or nerve cell is the key  processes and transmits information by electrical and chemical signaling.Chemical signaling occurs via synapses, specialized connections with other cells.

Then after that lesson  I learned so much how our senses function in the environment. Metacognition can take many forms, it includes knowledge about when and how to use particular strategies for learning or for problem solving. I learned also the six level of metacognition or awareness, first is knowledge, comprehension application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation.

According to (Kearsley, 1994)  metacognition is simply described as thinking about thinking It is more complexly defined as one's "knowledge of their own learning and cognitive processes and their consequent regulation of those processes to enhance learning and memory. The better a person is at metacognitive. If this theory is believed then a student should sit in the same seat everyday in class. As a student metacognition is used on a daily basis. This again is not an effective technique; if the students were to spread the studying out over the course of a few days they would remember more and be able to get a good night sleep the night before the exam. After establishing goals, plans of how to achieve them can be made.So as student of BSU it very relevant for me to be expose in many activities that can learn and widen my knowledge thru experience everyday in the school. skills the higher their learning and achievement will be.
